My grandmother, Victorine Picou, was born April 3rd, 1900 in Lucy, Louisiana, the heart of Cajun Country.  As a young girl she learned the traditional culinary skills that make Cajun cooking world famous.  She was a long time resident of nearby Gonzales, the Jambalaya Capital of the World.  Yet, even among the best of the best, her cooking prowess was renowned.  When asked what her secret was, she would say with a twinkle in her eye, "Oh, just a pinch of this and maybe a pinch of that."  To this day her exact blend of spices remains a family secret.

So enjoy some of Grandma's K'junBrand spices, and you will understand why her cooking, even in Cajun Country, is legendary.
